... and our unique, elegant 3-star kosher-hotel in Vienna's 2nd district. Resonanz Kosher-Hotel is a modern city hotel in Vienna, whose staff all share just one goal: making you feel as comfortable as possible during your stay. Please note that our house is a NON-SMOKING hotel.

The outstanding location of 3-star Hotel Resonanz (next to a stop on the Vienna underground, close to downtown Vienna) also makes an important contribution to that goal. The 2nd district, which borders the 1st district and thus the historic Old City of Vienna (referred to in Vienna as the "Inner City"), is actually one of the most traditional in all of Vienna. It is also known as "Leopoldstadt", named after Austrian Archduke Leopold I who, in 1669, integrated Leopoldstadt into Vienna proper, the city which had originally only consisted of the 1st district.

Only about a 15-minute walk from Hotel Resonanz, we find Vienna's Augarten, an enormous park and recreation area, which has been open to the general public since the time of Emperor Josef II. It is in the midst of this park that the world-famous Vienna Boys Choir makes its home. And let us not forget the internationally acclaimed Wiener Augartenporzellan, whose porcelain is also manufactured in the Augarten here in Vienna - definitely well worth a visit!

The Prater, which lies within Vienna's 2nd district, with its world-famous giant Ferris wheel, is a few minutes' ride on the underground from 3-star Hotel Resonanz. It is the site of the ever-popular Wurstelprater, one of the oldest, but also one of the most technically modernized amusement parks in Europe. Presented to the public by Josef II in 1766, it brings joy to hundreds of thousands of visitors and the Viennese themselves each and every year.

Adjacent to this amusement park are the grounds of the Vienna Exhibition Center, which has been expanded in recent years into a modern trade expo and congress center. The so-called "Green Prater", a gigantic woodland and recreation area, adds to the fascination of this section of Vienna.
